Desire: Part 3

Walking out from the bathroom, hoping Mahogany didn’t see the hurt written all over her face; Desire tried to act like everything was okay, but Mahogany saw right through her then layer of smiles.

“Are you okay?”

“What you talking about? I’m good.”

“Come on Desire, I’m not everybody. You know I got yo back. I’m here for you.”

“I know. I’ll tell you later. It’s to many ears and eyes in here. I don’t need nobody else in my business.”

“Alright…. One a high note your guy is here.”

“Really?! Where?”

“Whoa, simmer down. You really like him, huh?”

“Yeah, and I couldn’t even tell you way…. I guess you could say that his aura is attractive, because I don’t know enough about him to say more than that.”

“And I’m sure it doesn’t hurt that he’s fione, and got a little coin.”

“Oh yeah, that too.”

“Bitch, please! You know that’s what attracted you to him.”

“Maybe at first, but after talking to him for a little while, He just made me feel…. you know.”

“No I don’t know.”

“He made me feel….. normal.”

“Yeah. For that short time, he made me feel like a regular girl, not a stripper.”

“What’s wrong with being a stripper.”

“Nothing. I’m just saying; as he talked to me he looked in my eyes not at my body. For a minute I forgot I was sitting there talking to him half naked.”

“Damn! He’s really good.”

“What you mean?”

“Don’t think you’re the only girl he’s done this too.”
“He’s been here before?”

“Not here, but other strip clubs.”

“How you know?”

“I asked around about him. I couldn’t have my girl getting serious about some guy that ain’t bout shit.”

“Thanks for lookin out.”

“You know I got you.”

“You think I should still go over there? Let him know I’m here.”

“Yeah, why not? Don’t miss understand me; I’m not saying not to deal with him. I’m just saying be careful.”

“Alright, I’m going in.”
